Nanophotonics for Perovskite Solar Cells

Solar photovoltaics based on synthetic halide perovskites have revolutionized solar energetics in the last decade. Since 2009 overall efficiency of sunlight-to-electricity conversion perovskite cells increases from 3.8% up to 25.5% (for thin-film single-junction cells) and more than 30% affordable tandem with top photovoltaic layer perovskite). On other hand, nanophotonics has made a huge progress direction light manipulation at nanoscale, which is highly important for various technologies. In this review, implementation nanophotonic designs improvement efficiencies discussed. particular, different methodologies are covered devices nanopatterning, nanotexturing, nanostructuring cells. Moreover, how these changes cell architecture would not only affect optical properties, but also modify charge carriers transport harvesting Finally, recent machine learning design optimization overviewed.
